President meets Thoddoo Island Council

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has met members of Thoddoo Island Council and discussed the priorities and concerns raised by the Island’s residents, as well as various development projects the council members have proposed for the benefit of their constituents.

During the meeting held at the President’s Office, the council members discussed issues of the health centre, roads, and harbour. Further speaking, the council members requested to provide banking service, police service and proper waste management service to the Island’s community. They also emphasised they need a place to store and sell their agricultural items in Male’ City that they have planted especially for the upcoming Ramadan.

The president expressed the government would take necessary action after discussing with the relevant institutions and address the specific issues and concerns raised by members of the Thoddoo Island Council.
