Fenaka Corporation Limited has allocated prices of clean water services in Eydhafushi in Baa Atoll.
Water is now distributed from the newly established clean water system in the island and the services will be billed to each household each month, according to Fenaka Corporation. A 16-kilometre water network was established in Eydhafushi, along with a reverse osmosis desalination plant with the capacity to produce of 192 tonnes of water per day.
The project funded by OPEC Fund for International Development (OFID) cost over USD 2.837 million.
