Ministry of Higher Education has opened application window for High Achiever's Scholarship.
Any student who secured five A passes inclusive of Dhivehi and Islam in the higher secondary education 2018 can apply for the scholarship, said Higher Education Ministry. In addition to at least five A passes, the applicant also should have an O' Level or similar English certificate, according to higher education ministry.
Under the scholarship, students can choose countries from South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC), Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, China and Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
Revising the High Achiever's Scholarship scheme and making the scheme applicable for renowned universities in OECD countries is a pledge included in the first 100 days pledge policy of President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih.
