Ministry of Islamic Affairs has revealed it has received over USD 103,000 Zakat-ul-Fitr.
The ministry received the amount in the first 16 days of Ramadan, according to statistics published. The amount is an increase of 10% year on year. During the same duration last year, the amount stood at USD 97,081.
Donations as Zakat-ul-Fitr are being accepted at official working hours every day from the ministry and local councils.
