Ministry of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment has opened opportunity to submit suggestions on ways to implement policies on community empowerment. At a special ceremony, Professor Hassan Ugail launched a paper on community empowerment.
The paper was compiled focusing on three areas; promoting individual responsibility for social development, dissemination of information about healthy lifestyles and extended education to all ages as well as promoting talents and production in islands.
Speaking at the ceremony, Professor Ugail noted the paper consists of important points to promote community empowerment calling all youth to submit ideas as they are the future of the country.
Meanwhile, Minister of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment Ahmed Mahloof said needs of the communities can only be identified from the respective islands. He revealed opportunity to submit suggestions was opened to gain knowledge about those needs.
Comments and ideas can be submitted until the end of the month, according to youth ministry.
