Minister of Finance Ahmed Ameer has said, via the Maldives Partnership Forum 2019, it has been ascertained the pledges made by the administration can be honoured within the next five years. The finance minister made the statement addressing a press conference held after concluding the two-day forum.
Speaking about the outcomes of the forum, Finance Minister Ameer said one of the main objectives of the forum was to facilitate means through which the pledges made in the manifesto can be honoured. Noting the administration presented 70 infrastructure development projects via the forum, he said the government has been ascertained of foreign assistance to strengthen the fiscal system and boost the economy.
Maldives Partnership Forum 2019 was attended by over 130 representatives from 35 countries.
