Bank of Maldives (BML) has opened a Self Service Banking ATM Centre at Alifushi in Raa Atoll.
In addition to the usual cash withdrawal facilities, the new centre will support local individuals and businesses to deposit and transfer money on a 24/7 basis, according to BML. The national bank said with the establishment, the atoll now has banking services through two branches, two Self-Service Banking Centres and cash agents in all inhabited island in the atoll.
Furthermore, BML revealed last year, deposit services were also introduced through the BML cash agent in Hulhudhuffaaru in Raa Atoll which allows customers to deposit cash up to USD 450 per day and make credit card and loan repayments.
