Managing Director of Housing Development Corporation (HDC) Suhail Ahmed has revealed constructing the causeways connecting the first phase and the second phase of Hulhumale' will be completed by early next year.
Speaking to PSM News, Suhail said the project to construct the causeways is progressing at a fast pace and according to the schedule. As part of the project, a total of five causeways will be built between the two phases of Hulhumale'. Concrete work of one causeway has been completed and installing iron pipes are underway in the remaining 4 causeways, according to Suhail.
The designing and consultation of the causeways was contracted to a Turkish company. A huge portion of the project is financed by Saudi Fund.
