Beijing Urban Construction Group (BUCG) has expressed interest to collaborate with Maldives in future development projects. The remarks were made during a meeting between Foreign Minister Abdulla Shahid and President of BUCG International Chen Daihua.
During the meeting, Minister Shahid and Chairman Daihua discussed the importance of the currently ongoing projects in the Maldives being conducted by BUCG, one of the major Chinese firms conducting development projects in Maldives.
The meeting took place as part of the official visit by Foreign Minister Shahid to China on an invitation from State Councillor and Minister of Foreign Affairs Wang Yi.
