China Machinery Engineering Corporation (CMEC) has been contracted to develop an International Olympic Stadium in Hulhumale’.
The agreement was signed as part of the official visit by Minister of Foreign Affairs of Maldives Abdulla Shahid to China, on an invitation from Wang Yi, State Counsellor and Minister of Foreign Affairs of China. The agreement was signed by Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Ahmed Khaleel and Deputy General Manager and Representative for Maldives Liu Xiaoda.
As part of the agreement, CMEC must complete the researches and studies regarding the project within a 4 month period and submit to the Government of Maldives.
