President appoints advisors to Heritage Ministry

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has appointed four advisors to the Ministry of Arts, Culture and Heritage.

At a ceremony held at President’s Office, President Solih appointed Naseema Mohamed Kaleyfaanu, Abbas Ibrahim, Abdulla Sodiq and Mohamed ‘Madulu’ Waheed as advisors.

Speaking at the meeting, President Solih expressed hope the four advisors would render their experience and assist the heritage ministry in its endeavours in safeguarding the perpetuation of items and sites of historical significance to future generations and ensure the documentation, preservation and protection of cultural heritage.

The advisors expressed gratitude to President Solih for the opportunity. They further assured the president of their commitment to discharge their duties and responsibilities to the best of their abilities.
