Low-cost carrier based in India, Go Air, has resumed its operations to Maldives.
Minister of Tourism Ali Waheed, senior staff of Go Air and Maldives Airports Company Limited attended a ceremony held at Velana International Airport (VIA) to resume the operations. As it resumes its operations to Maldives, GoAir, expects to fly to Maldives from 3 cities of India, Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore.
Flights from Mumbai will operate on Sundays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and flights from Delhi will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, while flights from Bangalore will be operated on Sundays and Wednesdays.
GoAir tickets can be purchased via Voyages Maldives. Ministry of Tourism expects more tourist arrivals from India with the start of GoAir operations.
The 5th biggest airline of India, Go Air, is an Arline based in Mumbai, India. GoAir temporarily stopped flight operations to Maldives last July, after it started operations to Maldives in October 2018.
