Ministry of Finance has revealed the state received USD 103 million as revenue in the first month of 2020.
According to statistics published by the finance ministry, the state received USD 90.5 million as tax income and USD 11.6 million as other income. Finance ministry said the state received USD 91.8 million from tax sources which includes USD 48.8 million as Goods and Services Tax (GST), USD 35 million as Business Profit Tax (BPT), USD 5.23 million as Green Tax and USD 4.2 million as Airport Service Charge.
Furthermore, the statistics showed the state received USD 11.6 million from other sources which includes USD 6.33 million as fees and charges, USD 646,412 as registration and license fees, USD 3.5 million as rent and USD 277,957 as other income.
The expenses of the state amounted to USD 90.5 million in January.
