State Trading Organisation (STO) has begun wholesale distribution of perishables to retail businesses.
STO said retailers looking to purchase onions and eggs can place their wholesale orders through the designated hotline. STO stated individuals who have travel permits can collect their order, once the order is confirmed. The company also stated the items can be delivered to corner shops, supermarts, and vessels.
STO is also selling products online through eSTOre.mv. The company stated 300 orders are accepted daily, with each individual permitted to buy up to 70 items per order. The items are delivered on the same day.
