Another COVID-19 patient fully recovers in the Maldives

Another patient under treatment for COVID-19 has made a full recovery in the Maldives.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) stated a 35-year-old Maldivian woman identified as MAV080 has fully recovered. HPA said an elderly person in treatment at Dharumavantha Hospital is also recovering with the first sample tested negative for COVID-19. HPA conducts the test for COVID-19 twice to ensure whether a patient is fully recovered.

The total number of recovered cases in the Maldives totals 18, with nearly 500 individuals undergoing treatment in the Maldives. HPA said 6 patients are currently undergoing treatment in the DH11 facility at Dharumavantha Hospital.
