Two more COVID-19 patients make full recovery

National Emergency Operation Centre (NEOC) has revealed two more COVID-19 patients have recovered in the Maldives.

Speaking at the daily press briefing, Spokesperson of NEOC Mohamed Mabrook Azeez confirmed the recovery of two more patients, although no further details were provided. A patient is deemed fully recovered if they test negative twice after treatment.

The total number of recovered patients in the Maldives is 20 and the majority of the recoveries include tourists and Maldivians who tested positive for COVID-19 when they were completing their 14-day quarantine period in facilities after they were repatriated back to Maldives.

The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the Maldives is 618.
