Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporations (MMPRC) has launched a webinar series to promote tourism and to gain the trust and confidence of tourists regarding the safety of the Maldives.
The first webinar of the series titled Rediscover Maldives Webinar Series, which is aimed at marketing the Maldives amongst Middle Eastern tourists, was held on September 1. The one-month long series will be targeted at different markets and travel trade media to explain the efforts of Maldives to contain the spread of COVID-19 and the necessary precautionary measures as tourists travel to the Maldives.
MMPRC said the webinar also aims to share to the world that the Maldives is a safe travel destination due to the geographical setting of the country. The corporation further stated the webinars will also discuss the precautionary and safety measures of the government as well as resorts.
The first of the webinar series also launched a campaign titled ‘A dozen must do experience in Maldives’ aimed at sharing with travelers a list of things to do in the country. They include experiencing sea plane transfers, under water beauty and natural beauty of the Maldives.
MMPRC has been running several campaigns to promote the Maldives after Maldives reopened its borders to visitors on July 15.
