16,405 tourist arrivals recorded since July 15

Maldives Immigration has revealed 16,405 tourists have visited the Maldives, since reopening borders in July 15.

As per the latest statistics, 399,252 tourists have arrived in Maldives so far this year. Statistics from September 1-23 showed that 7,076 tourists arrived during the period. Meanwhile, 1,752 and 7,628 tourist arrivals were recorded in July and August respectively.

Since reopening borders, most number of arrivals were recorded from UAE, Russia, US, Spain, Germany, France, Brazil, Ukraine and Egypt.
