Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) has decided to resume familiarisation trips to promote the tourism.
The objective of the familiarisation trips is to equip participants with adequate knowledge of the tourist experience in the Maldives to publish it for media coverage. MMPRC revealed the trips will be conducted under the theme ‘Re-discover Maldives- the Sunny Side of Life’.
With the reopening of borders on July 15 and the resumption of flights between several markets, MMPRC has planned marketing activities to increase arrivals from various market and regain the destination presence. As such, the first group of journalists to visit the Maldives as part of the initiations was from India. The team will get to converse their experiences to the audiences as in-depth articles with images though their respective publications.
In recent years, MMPRC has facilitated the arrival of journalists from across the world to experience and share their experience to their readers and viewers.
