Vice President discusses development of Child Development Centre in Hulhumale’

Vice President Faisal Naseem has held extensive discussions regarding the planned addition of a Child Development Centre to the Hulhumale' Hospital.

The discussions, attended by officials of the hospital and other relevant agencies, were held in Hulhumalé Hospital on December 24. Officials of the hospital shared a proposal detailing the centre's plans with the Vice President and stated that staff recruitment would proceed simultaneously with structural development work. The new centre is slated to begin operations next year.

Going over the project's timeline, the Vice President assured the support of all relevant authorities towards the development and operations of the new centre. He added that it is essential for the centre to offer comprehensive child development services under one roof, giving precedence to it during the development and operational stages.

Following the meeting, the Vice President toured the area allocated for the centre. He was joined in the discussions by senior officials of the President's Office and Hulhumale' Hospital.
