Singapore Airlines resumes flights to the Maldives

Singapore Airlines has resumed its weekly flight operations to the Maldives.

According to the Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL), Singapore Airlines will operate three weekly flights from Changi International Airport to Velana International Airport. MACL revealed the flights will be operated on Friday, Saturday and Tuesday.

Singapore Airlines began flight operations to the Maldives in 1984. In addition to Singapore Airlines, Silk Air and Fly Scoot operated under Singapore Airlines also operate flights to the Maldives.

Over 30 international airlines have resumed flights to the Maldives since the reopening of borders last July.
