Government contracts project to build three classrooms and office building in Keyodhoo School

Ministry of Education has contracted Pensare Maldives Private Limited to develop three classrooms and an office building at the school in Keyodhoo, Vaavu Atoll.

The agreement was signed by Finance Executive of Education Ministry Naushad Ibrahim and Managing Director of Pensare Maldives Hassan Ahmed. The project was handed over to the contractor to be completed within 177 days.

The education ministry said about USD 284,000 will be spent from the Public Sector Investment Programme (PSIP) for the project. The ministry expects the project to be completed by the end of September this year.

Over 340 students are studying in Keyodhoo School from grades 1 to 10.
