Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure has contracted Donbez Private Limited to complete the construction of the 105 housing units in Kulhudhuffushi City.
At a special ceremony, the contract was signed by the Director General of the Housing Department at the Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure Ahmed Vishan Naseem and the Director of Operations at Donbez Ali Hamdhoon.
The project to construct 105 housing units in Kulhudhuffushi began in 2011 but was halted in 2014, and has been at a standstill ever since. Donbez has been tasked to complete the housing units in 240 days at a cost of USD 3 million.
The planning ministry stated the project is funded under the Public Sector Investment Programme (PSIP).
