Ooredoo Maldives has launched its Golden Year SIM pack for tourists, as part of its celebration of the golden jubilee year of tourism in the Maldives.
The SIM pack was launched by the Managing Director of Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) Thoyyib Mohamed. Ooredoo stated the special SIM Pack includes massive data allowances including dedicated social media data with a validity of one month, enabling visitors to stay in touch with their friends and family afar and share their journey in the Maldives.
Chief Commercial Officer of Ooredoo Maldives Hussain Niyaz said it launched its special Calendar and the Golden Year SIM pack to celebrate the golden jubilee year.
Managing Director of MMPRC, Thoyyib Mohamed expressed appreciation for Ooredoo's contributions to the celebrations and its efforts in ensuring that travellers are connected with the world as they vacation in the Maldives.
Ooredoo Maldives stated it has always worked closely with the stakeholders of the tourism industry by extending its support through innovative solutions and enabling digital transformation within the industry. It noted that, upon reopening of the borders in 2020, it has partnered with MMPRC, Ministry of Tourism, and Orca Media Group and launched a destination marketing campaign Visit Maldives Now, reaching its international network of over 117 million people across 10 countries.
