New mosque to be developed in Nilandhoo with capacity of 500 worshippers

Ministry of Islamic Affairs has contracted a local company to develop a new mosque in Nilandhoo, Faafu Atoll with the capacity to accommodate 500 worshippers at once.

The project was contracted to Mala High Rising Private Limited. The mosque is to be developed with bathrooms, ablution area, storage area and a minaret.

The project was contracted at a price of USD 764,000. The project is expected to be completed within 365 days.
