W Maldives has become a partner of the Maldives Border Miles programme.
Maldives Border Miles, which is an initiative of the Maldives Immigration, is the world’s first destination loyalty programme. The programme was launched at the start of 2021 and has now enrolled over 100,000 members. A total of 24 tourist facilities, including resorts, guesthouses and restaurants, have established partnerships with Maldives Border Miles.
The latest resort to join the programme as a partner is W Maldives in Alifu Alifu Atoll. Under this partnership, W Maldives will be extending different perks to members of the three tiers of the Border Miles programme.
Members of the Border Miles programme will earn points during each visit to the Maldives, and the number of points is based on the duration of stay, visits to celebrate their special occasions, visits on local occasions, frequency of visits, and other aspects. Rewards, services or benefits to the members are based on their tier status. They shall earn a certain amount of points to reach each tier - 500 points for the bronze tier Aida, 2,000 points for the silver tier Antara and 4,000 points for the gold tier Abaarana.
Membership to the programme is free and tourists can enroll as a member through the website of the programme. The grandest offer to the members is the VIP service offered to Abaarana members.
