The second edition of the Southern Maldives Business Expo has concluded in Addu City.
The organiser of the expo, Titan Maldives Private Limited, revealed that over 30 exhibitors took part in the expo this year, adding, however, due to logistic difficulties some exhibitors were unable to attend. The expo was also attended by colleges and high schools in Addu. Titan Maldives appreciated the support received from Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) throughout the expo.
Meanwhile, the national airline Maldivian and India-based IndiGo participated as partners. Titan Maldives announced that IndiGo expressed interest in conducting direct flights between India and Addu.
Noting the success of the second edition, Managing Director of Titan Maldives Ahmed Shareef said some islands have expressed interest to hold the third edition in their respective islands.
Southern Maldives Business Expo focuses on business opportunities in the south, building relationships with like-minded businesses and providing a platform to showcase and promote local products. The expo was held from August 25-27.
