President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has departed on a two-day official visit to Gaafu Alifu Atoll. He will visit Dhaandhoo, Nilandhoo, and Maamendhoo during the trip.
During the visit, President Solih will attend functions to mark the completion of infrastructure development projects initiated by the administration. He will also meet with members of the island councils, women’s development committees (WDC), and residents of the respective islands.
A delegation of senior government officials is accompanying President Solih on the trip. He is due to return to Malé on December 24.
