Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has held the draw to determine the order of points of the final list of recipients of the Vinares flats in Hulhumale’ Phase II.
HDC stated that many of the flat recipients had equal points. The final list was published on February 2. The final list is based on the criteria reviewed by the Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure. Those listed whose names are included in separate forms as co-applicants and married couples that have applied separately and who have signed the forms agreeing to drop one application have been removed from the list. HDC stated that there will be no further opportunity for those who have submitted applications after the permanent list is published.
HDC stated that the booking fee will be prepared and the winners will be given the opportunity to choose the apartment after the draw. This opportunity will be given in the order of the final list published. The draw to choose the apartment will be broadcast live on the official HDC Facebook page. A total of five from the two categories of flat winners will be given the opportunity to observe the draw. HDC stated to contact its hotline for further information.
The Vinares housing project consists of 10 towers with 1,344 housing units, all of which are three-room apartments. The Vinares flats are developed in four concepts: 172 marina view flats, 372 outer view flats, 352 inner view flats, and 448 standard view flats. The marina view apartments have a view of the yacht marina and cruise terminal, while inner view apartments have a view of the main roads. The outside view is of the city, and standard apartments are in the middle of the towers. The price of the apartments ranges from USD162,000-USD198,000.
