Gov't contracts companies to complete unfinished school infrastructure

Ministry of Education has contracted two companies to complete the construction of unfinished school infrastructure in Veymandoo in Thaa Atoll and Maavah in Laamu Atoll.

Tic Tac Investment Private Limited has been contracted to complete the construction of an unfinished three-storey building at Veymandoo School. The company is tasked with completing the project within 365 days at a cost of USD863,000.

Additionally, Evosun Maldives Private Limited has been contracted to complete the construction of an unfinished nine-classroom building at Maavah School. The company is tasked with completing the project within 365 days at a cost of USD571,000.

The agreements were signed by Senior Policy Director at the Education Ministry Naushad Ibrahim, Chief Financial Officer of Tic Tac Investment Ismail Zahir, and General Manager of Evosun Maldives Hussain Waheed.
