Ministry of Higher Education has announced the opportunity to apply for the Japanese Project for Human Resource Development Scholarships (JDS).
Japan has opened the opportunity for Maldivians to apply for six master's degree scholarships under the fully funded programme. They are Master of Environmental Sciences, Master of Public Policy, Master of Public Administration, and Master of Arts in International Relations. Chosen candidates will be enrolled in the University of Tsukuba, the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS), or Ritsumeikan University.
The application form and more information about the scholarship courses can be found on the higher education ministry's website and the JDS Scholarship website. The deadline for submitting applications is December 3. The higher education ministry has requested the selected candidates to ensure that the institute conducting the course is recognised by the Maldives Qualifications Authority (MQA) and whether the course selected is recognised by the MQA.
