Vice President Hussain Mohamed Latheef has met with the Gender Equality Action Plan's Steering Committee. The meeting was held at the President's Office.
Discussions at the meeting focused on augmenting efforts to empower women and emphasising efforts to boost the number of female representatives at the Parliament House.
Increasing female representation at the Parliament is a key pledge outlined in the Administration's Week14 roadmap.
