Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD) has reassured continuous commitment to supporting the Maldives in its development efforts.
During a courtesy call by the Director General of ADFD, Mohammed Saif Al Suwaidi on President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, expressed his delight in the partnership with Maldives government.
The President and the Director General deliberated on the long-standing bilateral relations between the Maldives and the UAE and the generous contributions from the Abu Dhabi Fund for the development of the Maldives. The president expressed profound gratitude for the continuous assistance provided by the Fund to the Maldives.
Furthermore, President and the Director General discussed areas of cooperation and the progress of ongoing developmental projects supported by the Fund. They also discussed enhancing cooperation in the tourism, agriculture, health, economic, and development sectors.
The meeting was held in Dubai, on the sidelines of the World Governments Summit 2024.
