Gov’t plans to introduce gaming facilities in Hulhumale' Phase II

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has announced plans to initiate the establishment of gaming facilities in Hulhumale' phase two.

He made the remarks in response to a question raised by a civilian during the 'Raees ge Javaabu' programme.

Nishreen Moosa, a resident of Hulhumale' phase two, expressed concerns about the absence of gaming facilities and the potential impact it could have on the community. In response, President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu acknowledged that the previous government had not taken necessary initiatives in the Hiyaa area. However, he assured that the current administration is committed to addressing this issue by developing parks and gaming facilities in Hulhumale' phase two.

Furthermore, there have been prolonged complaints from residents about the lack of essential facilities despite the area being inhabited for an extended period.

The government is actively working to provide accessible services to residents, including the establishment of both temporary and permanent mosques, especially for the Holy month of Ramadan.
