President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has met with members of the Hithadhoo Council and Women’s Development Committee (WDC) at the island’s Social Centre to discuss the island's pertinent concerns and development priorities.
During the meeting, the Hithadhoo Council highlighted urgent developmental needs for the island's progress. They outlined difficulties encountered in developing roads and obtaining services from public authorities.
The council suggested upgrading the island’s Health Centre into a hospital to enhance healthcare services and emphasized the necessity of constructing a football field. They also pressed for guaranteed efficient access to electricity on the island.
President Dr. Muizzu committed to addressing the concerns raised by the Council. He provided updates on the Government's ongoing initiatives aimed at addressing these issues through the Ministers present at the meeting, reaffirming his dedication to the island's development.
