People's National Congress (PNC) has affirmed that the policies opted by President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu are not dependent on any political aspects or opinions, but rather solely focus on providing service and ensuring development.
The declaration was made in a campaign event held in Dhidhdhoo, Haa Alif Atoll, in response to a post shared by the Assistant Manager of Fenaka Corporation Limited's branch on the island. PNC strongly condemned the remarks made in the post, which stated that the provision of electricity should only be for members of the party. PNC revealed that the post shared only encouraged the spread of misinformation and that neither President Dr. Muizzu nor the party supported the statement. It further assured that the president aims to provide necessary services in beneficial way to the economy, rather than abusing the political power.
In a previous stance also, Progressive Congress Coalition reiterated that the government and the party does not support policies which are biased on political opinions and influence.
