VP confident the President will fulfil his commitments

Vice President Hussain Mohamed Latheef has expressed confidence that President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu will fulfil all the commitments made to the residents. The remarks were made by the vice president at a meeting held at the People's National Congress (PNC's) Party Hall.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice President confirmed that President Dr. Muizzu is committed to maintaining specific policies, upholding standards, and enforcing the rule of law. He reiterated the president's dedication to addressing the needs of the residents and prioritising their concerns.

In his address, Vice President expressed confidence that President Dr. Muizzu will complete all the commitments outlined in the government's manifesto. He expressed optimism regarding the president's potential re-election for a second term, citing the significant transformative changes achieved during the current administration. The vice president emphasised that prior developmental efforts were obscured by previous political leaders, highlighting the necessity of unity and harmony for continued progress.

Furthermore, Vice President stated that President Dr. Muizzu was elected based on his leadership qualities and responsiveness to the residents' needs. He further remarked that the president is making considerable efforts to enhance the well-being of the citizens, resulting in notable improvements to the state budget and national stability.
