Medical Services of Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF) on Wednesday began a first aid training programme targeting teachers of schools in Malé.
According to MNDF, the two-day programme is attended by 19 teachers from 12 schools.
The programme, held at the auditorium of the Senahiya military hospital, includes basic first aid and CPR training, MNDF said.
The programme is conducted under an agreement between the Ministry of Defence and National Security and the Ministry of Education.
