Maldives National University (MNU) on Thursday announced Doctor of Philosophy or PhD. programmes in 8 different disciplines.
The programmes announced Thursday include 2 PhD. programmes offered the Faculty of Arts and 6 programmes offered by the Faculty of Education.
Registrar at MNU Saudulla Ali said individuals with level 9 and level 7 qualifications can apply for the 3-year programmes.
He said the applications should also include the Thesis Statement of Intent in respective disciplines, with the name of a Principle Supervisor.
He further said the university would assist students in selecting supervisors.
The programmes offered by the Faculty of Education include education planning, educational leadership, educational policy, instructional design, curriculum design and pedagogy.
The other two programmes offered by the Faculty of Arts are in the field of applied linguistics.
The programmes would be facilitated by professors from Australia, the United Kingdom, United States, Turkey and India, MNU said.
