Maldives Foreign Minister Concludes Visit to Qatar After Doha Forum Participation

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr Abdulla Khaleel, has concluded an official visit to Qatar, where he led the Maldivian delegation at the 23rd edition of the Doha Forum.

The high-level gathering, which took place from 6 to 7 December, brought together world leaders, policymakers, and experts to deliberate on the most critical global challenges.

A key highlight of the Minister’s engagement was his address at the High-Level Ministerial roundtable session titled “Upholding International Justice Systems and the Rule of Law.” During his intervention, Minister Dr Khaleel reaffirmed the Maldives’ unwavering commitment to the principles of diplomacy, the rule of law, and the vital importance of strengthening international justice systems.

The Maldives’ presence at this significant international platform highlights the government’s steadfast dedication to constructive multilateral engagement.

Minister Dr Khaleel was accompanied by a senior delegation including Additional Secretary, Khadeeja Najeeha, Chargé d'Affaires at the Embassy of the Maldives in Doha, Mohamed Didi, Joint Secretary, Mariyam Midhfa Naeem, and Second Secretary, Mohamed Thahseen.
