The opportunity to participate in the 26th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT) has officially opened to Maldivian businesses, the Ministry of Economic Development, Transport and Trade announced, following formal notification from the Chinese government that registration for the fair is now accessible.
The exhibition, scheduled to take place from 8 to 11 September in Xiamen, Fujian Province, China, is an annual international investment event organised by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce. Maldivian companies and industrial entities have been invited to participate by the organisers of the exhibition, the ministry stated.
The primary objective of the exhibition is to establish a platform for practical investments whilst cultivating an environment where discussions related to investment and policy can be effectively conducted, according to the ministry. The event facilitates opportunities for attendees to participate in comprehensive engagements, encompassing business-to-business networking sessions, dedicated investment seminars, and project roadshows.
Parties desiring to participate in the exhibition are requested to complete an online application through the official website at www.chinafair.org.cn, after which they must email their participation details to [email protected], the ministry directed.
