NSPA begins issuing food subsidy application forms

National Social Protection Agency (NSPA) on Monday began issuing and collecting staple food subsidy application forms across the country.

NSPA set up tables at two locations in Male’ City; Male’-Hulhumale’ ferry terminal and Male’-Villimale’ ferry terminal for issuing and collecting the food subsidy forms, and providing instructions for filling out the forms.

The agency has also set up a dedicated counter at its office in Male’ for the purpose.

In the atolls, application forms are collected through State Trading Organisation outlets.

According to the agency, the staple food subsidy forms are also available at its office in Male’, and secretariats of atolls and island councils.

The form is also available for download from NSPA’s websit: www.nspa.gov.mv.

The agency said a large number of forms had so far been issued, and assured that it would respond to all applicants within 15 days from the date of submission.
