Maldives Post has introduced a payment method that will allow Maldivian customers who shop through Global Dhucan to make payments more conveniently.
Maldives Post said customers can select the 'Pay through Maldives Post' option at checkout and complete the payment transaction by following the instructions provided. Eligible customers will also be able to receive a payment link through the Global Dhucan application and make payments in Maldivian rufiyaa if they wish.
According to Maldives Post, the new service provides a convenient alternative to international payment methods that require transactions in foreign currencies when purchasing items through Global Dhucan. The service will make it easier for customers in the Maldives to access Global Dhucan’s services and simplify the payment process.
The company said that, as part of its existing partnership, Maldives Post and India Post have enabled customers to purchase products through India’s e-commerce marketplace via Global Dhucan and have them delivered to any location in the Maldives. Customers will not need an address in India to make purchases through Global Dhucan.
Global Dhucan includes several well-known e-commerce platforms, including Amazon, Myntra, Flipkart, Nykaa, Nykaa Fashion and IKEA.
