SpiceJet begins operations between Trivandrum and Maldives

Indian Budget Airlines, SpiceJet has begun operations between Trivandrum and Maldives.

SpiceJet is scheduled to operate flights between Trivandrum and Male' City seven days a week. The first flight by SpiceJet landed at Velana International Airport yesterday afternoon. SpiceJet already operates flights between Male' City and Cochin.

The operations started Trivandrum and Male' will also allow customers to travel to Bangalore and Hyderabad via connecting flights after a short layover in Trivandrum. The airline is using a 78 seater, Bombardier Q400 aircraft for the operations between Male' City and Trivandrum.

SpiceJet operates flights to 7 international destinations and 39 domestic destinations in India. The airline operates 354 flights on a daily basis to different destinations.

SpiceJet was awarded "Asia's Greatest Brand" award in 2016.
