First Lady of Maldives Fathimath Ibrahim has conferred the title of Maldivian Idol 3 to Aishath Azal Ali Zahir. The title winner was awarded with a cash price of USD 16,125.
During the grand finale of Season 3, Aiminath Saina Mohamed Rasheed and Mariyam Maeesha was named the first and second runner up respectively. In addition, the top three and top five received awards from the sponsors and Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL).
Maldivian Idol is the first ever franchise reality show to be held in Maldives and is organized by Public Service Media, with the technical assistance of Fremantle Media. During the last two seasons, it successfully accomplished its aim; becoming a platform which gives the chance to many Maldivians to have their voices heard by a large audience.
Likewise this third instalment of the series has also given exposure to those interested in the music industry.
