Running mate of Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM) Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed has stated a government cannot be run successfully with a compilation of different ideologies and policies.
It is impossible to lead a government when different ideologies and policies are mixed, Dr. Mohamed Shaheem reiterated speaking at a meeting held with the youth of Fuvahmulah City, assuring a government coalition can rule a state when the coalition shares the same ideologies, policies and principles.
Moreover, during the meeting the youth requested for a turf ground and a swimming pool in Fuvahmulah, lauding the efforts of the government in enhancing youth development. Furthermore, Shaheem stated the President Yameen in his first term in office has proved transformational development are possible even with many challenges.
During the meeting with the elderly citizens of Fuvahmulah, Shaheem said despite all the hurdles President Yameen has brought major developments to the country, adding along the way the president also ensured to solve social challenges faced in the community. In addition, Shaheem said the foundation of development was enhanced by President Yameen within the past four years.
The running mate of President Yameen is currently on a visit to Fuvahmulah and will hold separate meetings with citizens.
