President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has departed on a visit to some islands of Laamu Atoll.
During the tour, the president visited Hithadhoo and inaugurated the harbour, visited Maamendhoo and initiated the sewerage services, visited Maabaidhoo and inaugurated the harbour.
Moreover, the president is also scheduled to visit Gan and inaugurate the Thundi District harbour and inaugurate the Haddhummathi Link Road. He is also scheduled to visit Fonadhoo and initiate the water services.
