Elections Commission of Maldives has finalised the list of constituencies for the Parliamentary Elections 2019.
Elections Commission published its final report proclaiming 87 electoral constituencies across Maldives for the elections scheduled to be held next March. The final list includes two new constituencies introduced in the capital, Male' City. The final list has now been published on the website of the Election Commission and the government gazette.
Elections Commission introduced two new electoral constituencies from Central Machangolhi and West Henveyru The parliament is currently represented by 85 parliamentarians.
