Maldives have attended the Partnership Summit held in Mumbai from January 12-13. The delegation of Maldives was led by Minister of State for Ministry of Economic Development Neeza Imad.
In her speech at the summit, she emphasised the importance of trade and financial sector liberalisation and the measures to minimise trade barriers. Furthermore, the state minister met with First Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Stepan Kubiv in the side-lines of the Partnership Summit.
During the meeting, both ministers discussed areas of mutual cooperation and ways to strengthen the bilateral relationship between the two countries.
