Following huge demand, Oman Air has decided to extend its winter flight operations to Maldives until April 2019.
Oman Air began its winter operations to Maldives on October 28 from Muscat International Airport to Velana International Airport. Oman Air first introduced its services to Maldives in 2009, which was ceased in 2016 due to lack of demand. Since reintroducing flight operations to Maldives, the airline has seen a growing trend of UK visitors travelling via the hub in Muscat, according to Oman Air.
